A Nugget Trio with a slimmer profile.
Cavity Sizes:
15mm square and 6 mm thick
18mm square and 6.5 mm thick
21mm square and 7 mm thick
Tips:
- Make a pre-press shape bead that is a squatty tube, about 1mm shorter than the press is wide. Starting with a tube instead of a round shape, will help to fill in the corners better.
- If you don't have enough glass, and have a corner, or edge this is not crisp, or is rounded, then do not add glass where it is lacking. Instead, add glass to the top and bottom (where you would normally put your surface decorations). Add a dot of glass on the top and bottom, then heat and press. This keeps the glass in the center of the press cavity, allowing the glass to be pushed down and out into the edges and corners, making adding glass more efficient and easier.
- You can press as many times as you need to in order to obtain a nice crisp shape. Just be sure to give the glass enough heat between pressings, and you will not have a problem with cracking.
