No mandrels necessary! These tools assist the artist in making shapes right on the rod, with no mandrels, or bead release necessary! You can turn your shapes into pendants by adding a loop, add the loop to the back and you have a button, or fuse it to the top of a ring...so many possibilities with this tool! So don't bother dipping mandrels, just start torching!!
