Sometimes you just want to string a bead onto a simple chain or cord and let it speak for itself. You don't want to wire wrap, or have to find matching beads to string onto bead wire in order to wear your artwork. Well, unless you off set the mandrel, which can make using the tool very difficult, you really can't string and go. Well, now you can! We have made a Straight Sided Lentil L+ that works with the Curved Mandrels from Inspiration Toolworks, LLC.
The physics of the curve dictates this bead will not flip. You can have a definate front and back, and string and go! Wow, what more could you want. All with a Straight Sided Lentil (spree shape). This shape has fabulous bead holes so no worry about puckers that you don't want to cap, or fill!
The bead measures 1 1/4" hole to hole and 14mm thick. It comes with 3 curved mandrels.
We recommend using the curved mandrels with Foster Fire Bead Release. Other releases, that need to have the bead twisted in order to break the seal and remove the bead, will not work well with these mandrels. You can purchase your
