Simply a large oval tube you can wrap glass around. The 1/8" diameter handle is bent so that the glass stays close to the center of rotation as you spin the mandrel. Please note that the mandrel is not perfectly weighted, meaning you will need to take more care than usual to get an even bead and your twirling hand will tire faster. Specifications: Made of stainless steel. The oval part is 7/8" wide, 5/8" tall, and 1" long. 1/8" diameter handle, 11" long overall. Skill Level: You should be able to make beads with the proper pucker easily, be able to lay down a straight line of glass, and manage glass temperature to prevent thermal cracks.
