The mandrel runs left to right on this tool. The top of the press is a 1/2 round and the bottom is a cone. Together they make great drop beads that are very similar to an icecream cone...and could be easily decorated to that end. They also make fabulous earrings with a little creative wire wrapping, and they hang perfectly for necklaces. The smallest two will make fun textural bracelets. There are 3 different sizes in this tool, as follows: 16mm left to right and mm top to bottom 18mm left to right and mm top to bottom 20mm left to right and mm top to bottom The top of this tool can be used as a marver for simple round beads. Note: There are very tiny holes that are drilled through the bottom of the press at the bottom of each cavity. This is to allow the air, that will become trapped, to escape, and make room for the glass to reach the bottom of the cavity. For this reason, you should only use it on a non-flamable surface.
